Katie Bramlage - “forty”
Join Katie Bramlage as she honors turning forty with a mixed media mid-career retrospective at the library; the home to ideas both old and new. Katie's earlier works will mingle with the classics alongside explorations into the future. The collection will celebrate Katie’s love of gathering ceramic and found objects and organizing them just so.
Katie is a full-time artist based in Hazel Park Michigan. She hand builds her “washed ashore cave decor” in her basement studio with the help of her crew of 2. She currently operates kb & co online and teaches classes and workshops throughout the Metro Detroit area.
The Art and Exhibitions Committee’s mission is to promote and foster an appreciation of two and three-dimensional art for library patrons, through exhibits, lectures, and an expanded collection of art books.
