Kids Corner entrance Entrance to Kids Corner
Looking for one of the most fun areas of the library? The Kids Corner has everything from books to movies and everything in between. Whether you’re looking to have a playdate in the baby garden or work on homework at one of our tables, look for the purple corridor to the Kids Corner!
Cubby storage Storage Cubbies
We know that sometimes there’s just too many things we need to take when you’re out and about with kids, but luckily the library is here to help! Please feel free to make use of our storage cubbies and coat hooks to stow diaper bags, toys from home, and anything else you might not want to keep an eye on as you visit the Kids Corner.

Youth reference desk Youth Reference Desk
If you have any questions or need help finding something, stop by the Reference Desk! Our Youth Librarians are here to help. Need a book recommendation or information about an upcoming program? We’ve got you covered for that, too. Stop by and say hello!
Public catalog computer Catalog Computer
Need to find something in the library? If you want to find it on your own, feel free to try searching our catalog. Simply enter your search and choose from a number of filters to narrow down the results. From there it’s as easy as using the call number to find the right spot on the shelf. You can also place items on hold if the library doesn’t have it available.
Single stall restroom in Kids Corner Single Stall Restroom
One of the special features in the library’s Kids Corner is our single stall restroom. This handicap-friendly family bathroom is great for those with a variety of accessibility needs, including handrails and a lower sink. We also stock this restroom with a selection of diapers and hygiene products.
Emergency exit Emergency Exit
Safety is important! Our emergency exit is conveniently located next to the family bathroom. While we hope it never has to be used, it’s there in case of emergencies.
Play area Play Area
The library has so much more than just books! Our play area has an enclosed baby garden area as well as other fun toys to play with. We also have a sectional couch, perfect for caregivers to relax while watching over their kids or for reading stories together as a family.
Event flyer bulletin board Event Bulletin Board
Want to know about special events happening in the library? Check the bulletin board! There are flyers for all sorts of programs and evenings coming up in the library. We have a plethora of recurring programs, such as our storytimes and our middle school game clubs, as well as all sorts of one-time events.
Self-checkout computer in Kids Corner Self-checkout Computer
With our self-check machine, you never have to interact with library staff if you prefer not to! It’s very easy to use: simply scan your library card and then load up your materials onto the self-check bed. You can even stack them on top of each other, and the machine still recognizes them!
Program Room Program Room
Many of our library programs take place in our Program Room! This room may be large, as shown in the photograph, or if there’s more than one program happening, a temporary wall divides the room into two halves. Winter storytimes can be found in this room.
