This presentation outlines the successes of African Americans in the Automotive Industry from 1873 through 2022.
This presentation also serves to spark conversations among new generations.
Concurrently, the library will have an exhibit, located near the atrium, highlighting African Americans’ inventions, designs, engineering innovations, dealership ownership, and new leadership methods, etc., that changed their respective fields.
Overall, this presentation will expand awareness of this historically underrepresented group of innovators and promote a richer and more diverse narrative of the history of the field.
